Hungry, thirsty, or just plain greedy? This month, London is overflowing with deliciousness. Three festivals are dominating the calendar: one for restaurant hoppers, one for cocktail lovers and another for curry fanatics, writes Chris Johnson.

London Restaurant Festival: All Month

October in London means one thing for foodies: the city-wide celebration known as the London Restaurant Festival is back.

  • 400+ restaurants participate across the city

Thinking fine dining without the price shock? Look out for:

This year’s programme opens with Food Fest at BOXHALL City near Liverpool Street, serving street food, crafted cocktails and live DJ sets.

  • Restaurant-Hopping Tours: Guided circuits through Marylebone Village, Oxford Street, Bond Street and The Portman Estate.
  • London Cocktail Week, 9–19 Oct: For cocktail lovers, London Cocktail Week transforms 200+ of the capital’s coolest bars into £9 cocktail havens. Grab a wristband and you’re set.
