Banqueting House will remain closed until further notice.
This 17th-century building was designed by Inigo Jones for James I, with an exquisitely painted ceiling by celebrated Baroque artist Peter Paul Rubens. It is the only remaining part of the Palace of Whitehall, which was destroyed by fire.
