A former royal residence built between 1616 and 1635 in Greenwich, Queen’s House is home to art, architecture and sublime views.

See the iconic Armada Portrait of Queen Elizabeth I, which commemorates the failed invasion of England by the Spanish Armada in 1588; browse The Woburn Treasures (featuring works by artists including Canaletto, Rembrandt and Gainsborough) or climb the Tulip Stairs – the first geometric self-supporting spiral staircase in Britain.

Admission is free, but tickets are required. Booking in advance is recommended but not necessary.
