Discover the amazing heritage of one of the most respected legislatures in the world. Book a tour of the Palace of Westminster, home of the UK Parliament, this winter and choose between a guided tour delivered by an expert guide or go at your own pace using an audio guide.
Spanning over 900 years of history, from the Anglo-Saxons to the present day, both tours include a visit to the Chambers of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, where laws have been made and scrutinised for centuries. You will follow in the footsteps of the monarch at State Opening, take in the ornate decor of the Royal Gallery, and explore medieval Westminster Hall with its connections to Guy Fawkes and King Charles I. Don’t forget to take a moment to soak up the atmosphere within Central Lobby which serves as the meeting point for members of both houses and is the scene of many TV news broadcasts.
