Summer may be nearly over but there are still plenty of food festivals to whet your appetite across London this autumn.
Pub in the Park
TV chef Tom Kerridge kicks off proceedings with his Pub in the Park, now the biggest food and music festival tour in the UK. Expect at least 10 award-winning pop-ups to feast at, incredible bars to quench your thirst, chef demonstrations, kids’ corner with entertainment, an Artisan Market, a shopping village, and live performances from Kaiser Chiefs, Basement Jaxx DJ Set, The Feeling and more! Head to Chiswick House & Gardens from 3-5 Sep, or travel out to the beautiful Berkshire village of Marlow between 16-19 Sep.
Free From Festival

The Free From Festival is the UK’s first gluten, dairy and refined sugar-free food festival. There will be informative talks and inspiring cookery demonstrations by nutritionists and industry professionals. The first granola butter made from oats, vegan chocolate, plant-based Indian food and gin and tonic bronuts are just some of the “free-from” products that will be on display. Enjoy a festival experience where you can discover and sample a wide range of delicious products without having to worry about whether you can eat them! The festival will be at The Boiler House in Brick Lane on 11 Sep.

The capital’s Oktoberfest celebrations kick off from 23 Sep with Bierschenke’s pop-up events at Blomfield Street. Get a taste of Bavaria with traditional German food all washed down with Steins of beer. There are also Oktoberfest offerings include events at Canary Wharf (30 Sep-3 Oct) and Old Billingsgate Market (7-8 Oct). Pergola Paddington has also been transformed into a Wunderbar (see what they did there?) where you should go for a horn-blaring, stein-sloshing Bavarian knees-up.
London Restaurant Festival
October brings even more foodie fare as London Restaurant Festival returns to restaurants across the city (1-31 Oct). You can usually enjoy a programme of food and drink events which includes specifically curated menus, restaurant hopping tours, movie nights and more. Last year there was a combination of in-restaurant dining experiences along with some at-home activities. You can guarantee you’ll leave London feeling FULL-filled this autumn!
