St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys celebrates its safe re-opening with Grandes Marques ‘democracy offer’

Europe’s longest Champagne Bar, St Pancras by Searcys, re-opened its doors on 6 August, from Tuesday to Saturday (noon-7pm).

After months of lockdown, St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys is here to help you celebrate the electrifying moments of meeting friends and family, and the romanticism of travel.

The bar is set against the stunning background of the Victorian station’s glass roof and Tracy Emin’s poignant artwork I want my time with you.

The Champagne Bar is famed for its Champagne buzzers and spacious individual leather booths, which seat up to six guests.

Throughout August and September, Searcys will serve the first glass of Champagne from a selection of Grand Marques, niche brands and top English sparkling wines, at £9.75 for the first serve.

Tickets for £20 include two glasses of Champagne and snacks. Book online.

Bruno Pelletier, Searcys drinks ambassador says, ‘We were keen to re-open our popular Champagne Bar this August.

‘Our location on the Upper Concourse and the layout of individual, socially distanced booths, Champagne buzzers in each and an online booking tool with track-and-trace widget ensure that we are perfectly placed to provide a relaxed, enjoyable and safe experience.

‘Our “Champagne democracy” offer allows Champagne connoisseurs and novices to sample some of the best products in the industry.’

The longest bar in Europe

The much-loved 98m Champagne bar is famously the longest in Europe.

After it opened in 2007, it became a must-visit destination in London, where guests can enjoy the grandeur and panoramic views of the magnificent station. It is the perfect pit-stop before hopping on the Eurostar to Paris.

A masterpiece of Victorian Gothic architecture, the station underwent a stunning restoration that was completed in 2007.

St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys opened in 2007, designed by Martin Brudnizki – the talent behind The Ivy, Le Caprice and later Sexy Fish and Scott’s.
