You’re heard of drive-in cinemas, but how about float-in cinemas?

From 2 September, you can watch a film outdoors from your own boat in Paddington.

Openaire has teamed up with GoBoat and Merchant Square in Paddington Basin to create an outdoor cinema.

The films will be projected on to a six-metre screen.

You watch the films while sitting in one of GoBoat’s 16 boats or in a deckchair on the towpath.

Blockbusters include Titanic and A Star Is Born while family favourites include Toy Story and The Lion King. You can also sing along to Grease, Rocketman or The Greatest Showman.

You listen to the film via sanitised headphones.

Peckish? Then order drinks or food such as pasta from RaviOllie via an app. Your order will be delivered to your boat or deckchair.

Screenings will take place from Wednesday to Sunday throughout September.
