Remember, remember, the fifth of November; gunpowder, treason and plot. Every year, skies around the UK sparkle on Guy Fawkes Night, also known as Fireworks Night. Find out the best places to watch fireworks in London this year…

 

Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival (6 Nov)

This looks set to be the biggest fireworks event of the year. Set against spectacular panoramic views over London, Alexandra Palace is pulling out all the stops with its Fireworks Festival. Be captivated by the Light Show, warm up by the bonfire or head inside to the German Bier Fest. Get your dancing shoes ready for the oompah band, Spice Girls tribute act Wannabe! and StrEATlife – with Soul, Garage and RnB legend, Trevor Nelson. Thanks to the new Battersea Power Station Tube stop, it’s never been easier to get to this exciting corner of south London. Battersea Park offers a bumper 2-day celebration this year. The fireworks will be delivered by the creative minds behind the Mayor of London’s New Year’s Eve celebrations and Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, so you know they’ll be good. On Saturday, the spectacle kicks off at 8pm – arrive early to get a good spot. New this year, Evolution London will transform into a German Bierkeller, complete with a live band, beer hall and bumper cars. There will be an afterparty immediately after the fireworks on Saturday until midnight. The show starts at 7pm on Sunday. Book your tickets.

 

Chiswick Business Park (4 Nov)

The Chiswick Business Park Fireworks Extravaganza will be back this November. Pre-show entertainment and food stalls will be available from 5pm to keep you entertained until the fireworks begin at 7pm. Also returning is the firewalk: the practice of walking barefoot on hot embers. It will take place at 5:45pm in support of the local Hounslow Action for Youth (HAY) charity. Do you have the courage and determination needed for the challenge? Travel using the District Line, access via Chiswick High Road. Book your tickets.

 

Barnes Sports Club (6 Nov)

This much-loved and popular event returns to the heart of Barnes Village. There will be a traditional bonfire, hot mulled wine, a large bar, a BBQ selling hot dogs and burgers and a spectacular fireworks display. Take part in the Best Guy competition – winning entry gets a chance to light the Bonfire! Sparklers and glowsticks can be bought on site, and there will be music from our favourite DJ throughout the evening. Find out more.

 

Richmond (7 Nov)

The annual Richmond Family Fireworks display will take place on Sunday 7th November 2021. Head to the Richmond Athletic Ground for another spectacular evening of family fun with a choreographed fireworks display by multi-award-winning Phoenix Fireworks. There will be live entertainment before the show, as well as funfair rides, mulled wine, hot food, candy floss and popcorn stalls. Plus, an after-party in the Members Bar! Gates normally open from 4.30pm with the fireworks display taking place at 7pm sharp. Find out more.

 

Wimbledon & Morden (5 & 6 Nov)

Witness one of two breathtaking displays of pyrotechnics at the Wimbledon Park fireworks (5 Nov), where music and fireworks combine to create a dramatic show. A spectacular fire and light show has replaced the usual bonfire at this climate-conscious event in recent years. There are also rides and a variety of food stalls for snacks. A similar event, a musical-themed fireworks show, takes place in Morden Park (6 Nov). Take the kids to the earlier Disney-themed display or watch the main James-Bond themed fireworks show. Enjoy the music and funfair rides, and tuck into warming food and drink to enjoy from the street food village. Find out more.

 

Out of London

Kempton Park (6 Nov)

Head out of town to nearby Surrey for the annual display at Kempton Park Racecourse. A fun-filled evening for everyone. Join the crowds for seasonal food and drinks, a funfair, and the spectacular firework display! Upgrade your fireworks experience in our Desert Orchid Suite. Avoid the crowds and enjoy the evening from the indoor suite with a private bar and spacious viewing balcony, offering the best views of the display.
